About

The UBC School of Population and Public Health has partnered with the Canadian Cancer Society to deliver the Be Well at Work research project. It will evaluate the effectiveness of three different workplace wellness approaches on reducing the risk of cancer through healthy lifestyle choices (healthy eating, physical activity, normal body weight) and on creating healthy workplaces at three different universities. UBC’s Okanagan campus, Thompson Rivers University and the University of the Fraser Valley are the three participating universities.

Be Well at Work launched Feb 23rd, 2011 at Thompson Rivers University

This research is funded by the Canadian Cancer Society (Grant # 21032).
